Day 1 Highlights
As the Port of Nafplion bustled once again with the anticipation of the Show, the inaugural day of the MEDYS proved to be a resounding success. Enthusiastic attendees relished in the premier showcase of exquisite yachts, each one a testament to the pinnacle of yachting craftsmanship.
Later in the afternoon, participants gathered at the port for the traditional Opening Ceremony, presided over by Michael Skoulikidis, President of the Greek Yachting Association.
Distinguished guests included Elena Rapti, Deputy Minister of Tourism, representing Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Prime Minister of Greece; Dimitris Ptochos, Governor of the Peloponnese region; Dimitris Orfanos, Mayor of Nafplion; and George Pateras, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping.
Following the ceremony, a by invitation only Welcome Reception imbued the historic Palamidi Fortress with an aura of sophistication and allure.
Embarking on Day 2

The Chefs' Competition, one of the highlights of the Show, takes center stage on Day 2. Some of Greece's culinary talents step up to compete for the prestigious top prize, showcasing their gastronomic prowess in a display of skills, technique and creativity.
Year after year, chefs eagerly embrace the challenge of crafting dishes inspired by a unique theme. This year, under the theme “Cooking the Orange” chefs draw inspiration from the Argolis Region.
With its picturesque capital Nafplion and revered treasure, the orange, this competition exalts the iconic fruit to center stage. Chefs are tasked with demonstrating their culinary artistry by creating main course dishes that express the orange's versatility and charm.
